Meet
Our Staff
Barb, Ann,
Kathleen & "Remi"
| Ann |
Our
owner, Ann, bought her first horse at age 11 and has been riding
ever since. She has competed in various disciplines, ridden
with the mounted patrol for Larimer County, and has been actively
involved with local 4-H clubs, conducting seminars and clinics
for young horsemen and horsewomen. Her passion lies with Arabians
and Anglo-Arabians for their stamina, intelligence, and personalities,
especially an Arabian stallion named Royal Alladin and her current
partner, Nightwinds Jazzman. Royal Alladin worked with Ann on
the mounted patrol for 8 years, was a super trail horse, and
a popular favorite. Ann started driving Jazz as a 2-year-old
and he proved to be a natural. They compete frequently during
show season in Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, especially in
combined driving which includes a driven dressage test, an obstacles
course, and a marathon, in which her husband, Jerry, acts as
navigator. She is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Carriage
Club and serves on the board of directors. Ann is an avid reader
and stays current on all breeds and disciplines, show rules,
and organizational appointments. She attends clinics and seminars
4-5 times a year in conjunction with markets and expos. |
| Barb |
Barb
and her family have always been very active in breeding and
raising Arabians, Saddlebreds, and National Show Horses. Barb
started out as a hunter/jumper competitor and has transitioned
through various show disciplines. Up until recently she has
shown her favorite Arabian mare, Midnight Echo, to many successful
western championships. She has worked in the saddlery industry
for over 25 years. |
| Kathleen |
Kathleen's
passion is with gaited horses and currently owns two Icelandics
named Fithla and Tollie. Kathleen loves Icelandics for their
strength, forwardness, and, of course, their smooth way of going.
She and her energetic horses enjoy trail riding in various terrain
with other 2-legged and 4-legged friends. |
Come in and
spend some time with us. We'll help you find what you need, offer
advice if you ask, lend you encouragement if you need it, and help
you celebrate your accomplishments, big and small.
